Our Workshops
Workshops follow a structure to inspire independent creative play and to bring storytelling to life.
Beginning
Sessions start with a short story set in a natural environment. We explore mindfulness, friendships and wellbeing in a gentle and indirect way through storytelling.
Throughout the story we pause to hear the children's ideas and to include mindful breathing practices.
The story is left on a cliffhanger.

Middle
We explore creative activities tying into the story.
These can be done at the children's own pace and offer open-ended, creative play, arts and crafts.
The aim is for children to explore what inspires them the most and to get immersed in it in a Montessori-style setting.
For all sessions, this means the activities are set up for children (even as young as two) to enjoy independently - although parents and teachers are also welcome to get involved, of course!

End
We finish the session by coming back together to hear the end of the story.
At this point, the children can use their crafts to bring the story to life and discuss possible endings together before hearing it.

What to expect
Our role as session leaders is to inspire children and to support them in their creativity. Activities are open ended and allow for creativity and magic!
Expect a session of excitement, beautiful crafts and children getting lost in their imaginations.
We provide the story and all arts and crafts materials. Children take their crafts home at the end of the sessions and we hope this leads to even more creative play.
