Outdoor Building
Bring 'Billy Bunny and the Woodpecker Nest' to life in our incredible workshop! Children build with natural loose parts creating their very own Billy Bunny treehouse.
Duration: 1 hour
Ages: 4-11
Group sizes: Up tp 30 children
Cost: £200 for an individual session. For multiple sessions in the same day we offer cheaper bundles.
- Read the story together
- Build with loose parts
- Create nests and add salted dough eggs to make them realistic
- Mindful breathing practices during story time
- Children enjoy a biscuit with the story too!

Natural Potions
Bring 'Billy Bunny and the Lost Key to life in our incredible workshop!
Duration: 1 hour
Ages: 4-11
Group sizes: Up tp 30 children
Cost: £200 for an individual session. For multiple sessions in the same day we offer cheaper bundles.

- Learn about different plants and how to tell them apart
- Create potions using natural materials and colour mixing techniques

'How to write a Billy Bunny book' - workshop

Assemblies
Enjoy an author reading of 'Billy Bunny and the Woodpecker Nest' with props to bring the story to life.
Duration: 30 mins
Ages: 4-11
Group sizes: Up tp 60 children
Cost: £50 each (minimum three assemblies per visit).

Once you have emailed your enquiry (info@storymeadow.co.uk) Marion will reply with suggestions on how to get the most out of your Story Meadow workshop. Timings are flexible and we work with your school to ensure the children have the best day bringing stories to life.

FAQs
Which ages is this best suited to?
Outdoor workshops can be tailored to any age - including preschoolers.
"How to Write a Billy Bunny Book' Workshop is aimed at year 5 and 6 students but can also be adapted and enjoyed in year 3 and 4.
Do we have to buy a copy of the book?
Families and schools can purchase a copy of the book on the day if they wish but there is no obligation. I do ask that families are made aware of the special visit ahead of time and that I am able to set up in the playground at the end of the day for those who would like to buy a copy.
We're not a school but would love a visit. Would you come and see us?
Sure! Although this scheme is aimed at schools, I have also visited preschools, nature settings and book shops. I would love to share my book with your setting. Get in touch today so we can make it happen!
A work of friendship
Author, Marion Zielentino, and Illustrator, Claire Warwick, have been close friends for over a decade and this project was an absolute joy for them to bring to life. It has inspired many more projects to come and they are both incredibly proud to have created this beautiful storybook to be enjoyed for generations to come.
